Some validated customers of DKM Microfinance, God is Love Fun Club, Jasta Motors, Care For Humanity, Little Drop among others who have not yet received their locked up investments have threatened to embark on demonstration to express their grievances against the government on 12th February, 2019.

The validated customers say they have been neglected by government after they were promised by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) prior to the 2016 elections to help them retrieve their locked up money if voted into office, hence the demonstration.
“We are going to embark on demonstration because the government what to take us for granted , that’s what we are planning to do and we are leaving no stone unturned”, Spokesperson for the customers Aninga Ningu Aniaba said in an interview monitored by thepressradio.com on Sunday, February 3, 2019.
He said the demonstration will be started from Nkoranza in the Brong Ahafo Region in the morning.

“We have realized that the government, having benefited from this whole thing, having promised us, and coming into power now has now forgotten about us”, he lamented.
Adding that, they have observed that the government has interest in Menzgold issue than them so they are not going to sit down unconcern.
Aniaba stated that they secured warrant from court on 7th February, 2018 for the arrest of the embattled Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the DKM Diamond Microfinance Company Limited, Mr. Martin Delle but the Minister of Interior; Ambrose Dery prevented them from his arrest but the government gave attention to the menzgold issue, situation he described as unfair.
“So this time around there is nothing to prevent us from the demonstration BECAUSE what is good for the goose is good for the gander” he stated.
He also debunked claims by the government that 90% of the customers are settled.
