The officer, G/Sgt Augustine Owusu Ansah, was the officer who was seen in a video which went viral in May this year, negotiating payment and receiving money at a drinking spot from some individuals who had engaged in cyber-crime and narcotics.

Sergeant Ansah was seen in the viral video boasting of his ability to free criminals who were arrested by his colleagues during operations after they had paid some cash to him.
