The noticeable CEO, Educationist and Motivational speaker of Educate Ghana Summit Mr. Boadi William has declared that the ministry of education is totally stunned in functioning.

Recently, the substantive Minister of education and his deputy minister are swimming in contradiction as they are misinforming the general public about the controversial double track education system. According to the substantive Minister, “double track education system will end in September”. On the other hand, the deputy minister also said “double track education system is not ending anytime soon”.

Please, with all due respect, I would want to sound a caution to them that education is not try out circle or try your luck avenue. The education ministry demands noumenon with national policy to ameliorate Ghana’s Education for a solid foundation of our dear country.

To add more, it is circulating on all social media platforms that Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, the minister of education said, the duration for all universities will be reduced from four (4) to three (3) years and also, JHS and SHS certificates to be upgraded to diploma.

My quotations therefore are;

1. Has he thought of changing our theoretical system of education to entrepreneurship skills oriented education system to equip students and enable them create their own jobs to reduce unemployment?

2. Has he thought of building a standardized nation by providing teaching and learning materials to our basic schools to ensure quality and comfortable teaching and learning?

3. Does he know that teachers in the government basic schools are being sentimentally molested due to government’s unfulfilled promises to teachers and their poor conditions of service which stands still?

4. Has he also thought of leaving an indelible legacy in his term of office or he just want to score cheap popularity and political gains to defeat his political opponents?

5. Did he involve stakeholders, including teachers and parents in the new policies before its implementation?

6. Does the minister know that, owing to some awkward policies, there is no discipline and respect in our basic schools nowadays and this would continue to worsen their results?

Let us put Ghana first on our scale of preference.

Fellow Ghanaians, as a nation, do we only expect citizens to pass through education and sleep on their certificates after graduation? The answer, I think is no!

Please, we are to get involve and help rekindle the progress of Ghana’s Education to ensure socioeconomic development. Let us draw a thick line between party agenda and national interest now!.

Long live Educate Ghana Summit
Long live MoE and GES
Long live Ghana
