Free SHS Placement: GES suspends Protocol admissions

Management of the Ghana Education Service( GES) has reopened the self-placement portal for candidates qualified for Senior High School. However it has announced the suspension of protocol admissions for the time being.

In a press release signed by the head of public relations, Cassandra Twum Ampofo, GES has directed all candidates who did self-placement between 9th and 11th September 2019, to go through the process again.

The release however has not explained what protocol admissions are.
