The government has announced that although the country has recorded six cases of Coronavirus, about 180 contact persons linked to the victims have not shown any signs and symptoms of the virus
This was announced at the press briefing by the Minister of Information Kojo Oppong Nkrumah when he addressed the country on the latest updates
According to the government, it has strengthened its measures to contain these contacts so that when they show signs and symptoms later, they will be able to handle such cases.
The government mentioned that it’s working hard to prevent community spread of the virus because that can bring huge issues to the country.
As a result, advised that people who came into contact with the people who have tested negative will be given personnel who will check on them on a daily basis in order to ensure that they are safe.
On restocking pharmacies with hand sanitizers, the Pharmaceutical Society disclosed that they are making efforts at ensuring that pharmacies and chemical sellers are restocked to provide the public with hand sanitizers.
