Student in critical condition after fasting for 41 days

A university student identified as Ikechukwu Oke of Ebonyi State University (EBSU) is currently in critical condition and under medical care after he fasted for 41 days beaking Jesus Christ’s record of fasting for 40 days and 40 nights.

According to sources mostly made up of his mates in school, Ikechukwu Oke decided to engage in a 41days fasting because his family were going through a lot of challenges and felt fasting was the only way to solve it.

One of his mates also identified as Christian Nwaokpa told reporters that;

“He is from Ebiaji in Ezza North LGA. It is his nature. As it stands now, men of goodwill and ambassadors are on the way conveying him to the Accident and Emergency Ward in Federal Teaching Hospital in Abakaliki.”
