A/R: Several people Died at Boankra on Kumasi-Accra Road.

About 8 people fear dead and others sustained several degrees of injuries in an accident involving a Sprinter bus and a Trailer truck at Boankra close to Ejisu on the Kumasi-Accra road,brightwebtv can confirm.

An eyewitnesses, Kofi Amponsah who disclosed the sad incident to brightwebtv.com said, the driver of the Traler track which was loaded with floor tiles with registration number ER 53 82-x was overtaking another truck   when he crashed headon  with the Sprinter bus with  registration number GT 5249-17 at Boankra and ended up crashing headon.

He said,the sprinter bus was heading to Accra whiles the Traler track was coming from Accra to kumasi.

According to reports, about 8 people in the Sprinter bus fear dead whiles those sustained several degrees of injuries are currently receiving treatment at the Okomfo Anokye.

The dead bodies are also deposited at the Okomfo Anokye morgue.
