Akufo-Addo declares Wednesday March 25 for fasting and prayer against COVID- 19

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has declared Wednesday March 25, 2020 as the National Day for fasting and prayer against the deadly Coronavirus.

Addressing the nation the third time since the outbreak, the President called on all Ghanaians to observe the day as such in order to help remedy the situation that stares the citizenry in the face.

“I urge all of us also to seek the face of almighty. So On Wednesday 25th March 2020 March, I appeal to all Ghanaians; Christians and Muslims to observe a national day of fasting and prayer . Let us pray to God to protect our nation and save us from this pandemic. I thank the men and women of God who prayed for nation with me on Thursday and the Vice President on Friday”, he lauded
