Breaking News: Peace Fm’s Afia Konadu Is Dead

Information reaching Mynewsghana.com’s news desk indicates that Ace radio presenter Afia Konadu popularly known Maafia is dead. Morning show host Yaa Konama who confirmed the incident on UTV’s Adekye Nsroma show disclosed that the Ace Presenter died yesterday at about 8:00 PM.

Maafia, as she is popularly called, worked for 45 years. She started as a teacher and then went to work with the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC).

• A few years later, she was invited by Dr Osei Kwame Despite to help in running PEACE FM which was then a ‘baby’.
  On 19th November 2015, the popular presenter bid farewell to Peace Fm after she marked her 65th birthday!
