EXHIBIT PROFESSIONALISM IN YOUR LINE OF DUTY- LEGAL AID COMMISSION CHARGED

The Member of Parliament for Asante Akim South Constituency, Lawyer Kwaku Asante Boateng has called on Legal Aid Commission to treat all cases that come before them equally without being bias.

The law maker made this comment after paying a working visit to the Legal Aid Commission’s Office at Juaso, in his district.

The Legislature in his quest to ensure the people of Asante Akim South, especially the poor and the vulnerable not to be left out in the legal battle, pleaded with the commission to treat their clients equally.

According to the member of parliament in an exclusive interview with brightwebtv.com correspondence, Kwame Amponsah charged the Commission to live up to their core mandate and ensure those in need get access to legal assistance whenever the need arises.

According to the legislature, the performance of the office so far indicates that, the commission is not bias in dealing with dispute within the constituency.

He therefore urged the Legal Aid Commission’s Staff to exhibit professionalism since many clients may be maybe innocent in the crime they are involved in.

The Municipal Legal Aid Commission’s Officer, Mr. S. M Awal commended the member of parliament for his surprised visit and promise to go by their mandate to extend a helping hand to anyone who would visit their office.
