Volta Regional Police Commander transferred

The Volta Regional Police Commander, DCOP Francis Doku, has been transferred with immediate effect to the Police Headquarters in Accra, to take up the position of the Director in Charge of Special Duties.

Similarly, DSP Maister Klay, Staff Officer at the Regional command has also been transferred to head the Gambaga District Police command in the northern region.

This was contained in a memorandum signed by the Inspector General of Police (IGP) David Asante-Apeatu on Monday, 21 January 2018.

The reasons for the latest transfers were not stated.
