Addai Nimo nomination forms Rejected

Asante Mampong Constituency Chairman of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) , Luther Asare refused to accept the nomination forms of Francis Addai-Nimoh, a former Member of Parliament (MP) for the area.

The former lawmaker of the had gone to submit his nomination form to contest in the upcoming constituency primaries of the New Patriotic Party on Wednesday February 19, 2020, but was turned away at the Constituency head office in Mampong.

As a result, he left stranded together with his supporters who suspect it is a deliberate ploy not to allow their candidate to contest the forthcoming primaries for reasons unknown.

According to Luther Asare, the former lawmaker cannot submit his form because he (Luther Asare) is not ready to receive the form because another aspirant had pre-informed them he was submitting his today.

It would be recalled that Luther Asare had earlier denied Addai-Nimoh of nomination forms forcing him to petition the regional Chairman and later the NPP General Secretary, John Boadu.

It was reported that Addai-Nimoh got his form at the regional office five days to the close of nomination after he tried without success to pick form from  the Constituency sparking agitations among his supporters.
