BRYAN Acheampong’s ‘Invisible Force’ personal guard collapses and DIES after Ayawaso by-election

 

 

A member of pro-New Patriotic Party (NPP) vigilante group, the invisible forces who was incorporated into National Security and occasionally guards Bryan Acheampong, Minister of State in charge of National Security has collapsed and died instantly hours after returning from Ayawaso by-election operation; MyNewsGH.com has confirmed.

 

 

The moderately-built machoman only identified as Fatawu collapsed and was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
He collapsed at the home of his superior at Trassacco in Accra last Friday, a day after Ayawaso Wuogon by election and was rushed to the cocoa clinic where he was pronounced dead on arrival. He is reported to have died of cardiac arrest, sources inside National Security confirmed to MyNewsGH.com.
This is after he participated actively in the NSC operation during the by-election at Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency, which saw the ruling party candidate whip the NDC’s Delali Brempong.

Until his death, Fatawu was incorporated into the National Security after the NPP won the 2016 election and was reported to be very “sharp”, whatever it meant.

 

His colleagues who confided in MyNewsGh.com on condition of strict anonymity, said he was among the security operatives who supervised the recently held Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency by-election and is always in the company of the Minister of State in Charge of National Security, Bryan Acheampong each time he is visiting his constituency.

Fatawu  who is said to be a native of Bawku in the Upper East Region has since been buried in accordance with the Islamic custom by virtue of the fact he was a Muslim.
A prayer session will be held for him this week at a location yet to be communicated to the public according to close sources to the bereaved family.
He was among hooded National Security operatives who had stormed the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election to shoot unarmed civilians, leading to the wounding of 18 with one victim said to be in critical condition.
Eleven have so far been treated and discharged while seven are on admission at the 37 Military Hospital as at last Friday February 1, 2019.

The Inspector General of Police, David Asante Appeatu has directed the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident to unmask the perpetrators behind the shooting incident.
