Just in: Sammy Gyamfi picked up by CID

News just in suggests that Sammy Gyamfi, the National Communications Director of the National Democratic Congress, has been picked up.

The arrest happened shortly after his discussion on UTV’s Adekye Nsroma show.

He was arrested by men who introduced themselves as coming from the Criminal Investigations Department of the Ghana Police Service.

He said the men who arrested him came with two vehicles – a Toyota Landcruiser and one Pickup vehicle.

Eric Adjei, a member of the NDC’s communications team confirmed the news of his arrest to Adomonline.com.

He said the arrest was in relation to complaints of cybercrime lodged against the NDC communicator by the Jubilee House.
