New voter Register: Consider Quick Spreading Of Coronalvirus -NDC To EC

The Deputy Ashanti Regional Communication Director of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Kwaku Asafoagyei has advised the Electoral Commission rescind his decision to compile a new voters register with respect to the quick spreading of the new global epidemic deceased coronalvirus.
Asafoagyei made the comment while speaking on OTEC fm’s political talk show dubbed ”Dwaberem” hosted by Prince Nii Ade popularly known as Doctor Cash.
He stressed, following the quick spreading of the global epidemic coronal-virus as against the international relationship among Ghana, Egypt and Nigeria where they have recorded cases of coronal-virus the health security of Ghanaians should not be put under-estimation regarding process one will pass through before acquiring voter’s Identity Card.
According to Asafoagyei a qualified Ghanaian must join a long queue from morning to evening with all manner of qualified Ghanaians from all spectrum of almost every society to acquire a Ghanaian voter’s ID Card which he disclosed it posed danger for every Ghanaian, in the mist of the deadly coronal-virus epidemic.
He was the view that most of the Ghanaian traders ply their trade with Nigerian counterparts therefore in case of any contraction there must be prevention of its quick spreading, as Africa is ill-equipped to respond to the deadly corona-virus outbreak, said World Health Organization (WHO).
