Yesterday, February 5, 2020, Ghana’s most authoritative online news portal, thebbcghana.com reported exclusively that the entire NPP government and machinery is neck-deep in the galamsey enterprise under the tacit supervision of President Akuffo Addo.

In the said publication, it became explicit per the footage attached that there was a closed-door discussion between the minister of Environment Science and Innovation, Prof Frimpong Boateng and Ekow Ewusi, the first vice-chairman of NPP in the central region that the entire set up of the Inter-Ministerial Committee on illegal mining is just a shame that was meant to hoodwink or deceive Ghanaians.

It’s at the back of this galamsey scandal which has captured the imprint of Ghana’s incumbent president in the person of Nana Akufo Addo that Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has blasted NPP gurus for engaging in fraudulent acts.

Kennedy Agyapong in the studios of Net2 Tv reacting to the mess masterminded by Prof Frimpong Boateng stated categorically that Akufo Addo as it stands can be linked to a tree without roots of the galamsey scandal.

In the voice of the maverick politician, it pains him to the fullest considering how Akufo Addo suffered a number of defeats before winning the 2016 elections. So, it’s rather unfortunate for some NPP gurus because of their selfish gains engage themselves in fraudulent acts to taint the image of the noble man.
