Borga Silvia foundation feted hundreds of street children on new year day

The founder and leader of Burger Silvia foundation of Ghana Sandra Adu, a kumawood actress known in the movie industry as Borga Silvia on the 1st of January 2019, feted over hundreds of needy and distressed children on the streets of Kumasi, of the Ashanti region.

 

 

Those who benefited from this kind gesture include children residing at Roman Hill, Kejetia, Bompata and its environs of which many of them are kayayes.

 

 

During a brief interview with brightwebtv.com reporter Martin Awuku after the program said it was her surprise gift to the children who need support from people like her in a Christmas festivity like this who doesn’t have parents to cook for them as others are enjoying with their families, adding, their gesture aimed to bring comfort to them.

 

 

 

She stressed that the main purpose of the foundation is to bring joy and happiness to the needy people on our street for them also to have the feel of belonging in the society.
According to the actress, there was the need to show love, care and support to the less-privileged.

 

 

The actress, who wants to make a difference in the lives of the needy, said the church and the government alone cannot support the needy, helpless and the poor in society, so it will be better for individuals to contribute to nation building in terms like this.
She also ceased the opportunity to call on the government and other philanthropists to come to their aid and support them to do more to bring joy to the faces of the needy.
Sandra Adu known as Borga Silvia is a Ghanaian actress and a movie dir. She found mainstream success following her rousing performance in Kumasi Yonkor.
