Well the attention game in Ghana is becoming too much. The cycle goes like this — say something outrageous, trend for it then later come out and say you were only kidding and it’s the fault of bloggers that you trended.

Yet by that time, you’ve already gotten the crazy attention that you wanted and social media is talking nonstop about you.

Efia Odo just completed this cycle after trending all over the place today for claiming that Daddy Lumba is her father.

We reported on it earlier today, the actress was interviewed and seriously claimed Lumba is her daddy and the legendary singer himself knows it.

A few hours later she’s back on twitter denying the story. According to her, she was only joking and bloggers have taken it out of proportion to claim something she never said.

“Bloggers in gh so someone can’t make a joke again!!!! I said daddy Lumba is my dad and it was a joke, now y’all have gone to make it a story!! Like seriously?? Everyone knows how much I adore and love Lumba. The girls that were kidnapped dier you won’t create awareness of it,” she ‘blasted’.

“Lumba ain’t my daddy I just love him like a daddy.” she added in another tweet.
