Panties are Being Stolen for Rituals So I’ve Stopped Wearing Them — Actress Reveals

Superstition is definitely going to be the end of this continent. Belief in the absurd invariably leads to taking absurd actions to accommodate that belief.

That’s why it’s commonplace in this country for people to believe some water or sticker prayed upon by a supposed man of God can completely change their lives — absurd beliefs lead to absurd actions.

Nigerian actress Lizzy Gold Onuwaje is apparently suffering from this syndrome because she believes that some people are gathering the panties of ladies for rituals and therefore she’s decided not to wear panties.

Speaking in an interview, the Nollywood star said she wouldn’t wear panties anymore not to fall prey to such antics, and she also advised other actresses to do same.

“I’m saying goodbye to wearing pants. No more wearing of underwear. So recently I heard some group of ladies were returning from church and they were stopped by gunmen and asked to take off their pants. I heard this from a reliable source, so please let’s be on guard,” she said.

“To my colleagues, you know we spend most of our times in hotels during filming, we can’t trust these hotel workers. They might come in when you not around and steal your pants. I beg you, if you can’t avoid wearing pants, then travel with just two pants so you can be able to monitor them. I repeat, you can’t trust anyone, even ladies now steal pants. Protect your sanity, always be on guard and also protect your peace. All ladies should stay woke and be more prayerful.” Onuwaje added.
