A contingent of more than 25 Ghana supporters will leave the country on Friday to Egypt to support the Black Stars of Ghana at the Africa Cup of Nations.
The contingent is made up of supporters and journalists who will be making the trip on government’s expenses.
The government has resorted to flying fans in badges after visa delays botched an early plan to transport all of the fans to Egypt before the team’s opening game against Benin.
A handful of Ghanaian fans were at the stadium on Tuesday when Ghana drew 2-2 with Benin.
At least twice that number is expected to converge at the Ismailia Stadium stadium on Saturday when Ghana face Cameroon in a must win Group F game.
