Head Coach of the Black Stars has said although Black Stars Skipper Asamoah Gyan is proving unreliable in his place, that does not mean he will be forced to call new Barcelona signing Kevin Prince Boateng to the Black Stars, MyNewsGh.com Sports has filed.

Coach Kwesi Appiah made this pronouncement In an interview on Nhyira FM monitored by MyNewsGh.com Sports.
In the words of the Coach:
“Kelvin (sic) Prince Boateng is a Ghanaian and playing well, if you look at our striking department, we cannot always count on Asamoah Gyan, but after 2014 Commission of Inquiry he and Sulley Muntari were asked to apologize and Sulley has done his. I will invite Kelvin-Prince Boateng writes his, I will invite him”, he said.

According to him, the new Barcelona signee is a Ghanaian and playing well too, hence he could be invited if he apologizes to strengthen the striking force of the team.

The former Sassuolo attacker has been labelled as disrespectful together with Sulley Muntari and was asked by the Commission of Enquiry to submit an apology to clear themselves on any chance of returning to the Black Stars camp.
It took Sulley Muntari three years(July 2014-2016) to swallow back his words and deeds, but not KP Boateng.
Kelvin Prince Boateng’s stints with the Black Stars have always been deemed by many Ghanaians as opportunistic; from his switch of allegiances from Germany to play for Ghana and series of excuses to miss qualifiers.
