Striker, Abdul Majeed Waris reacted awkwardly following the release of the official 23 man squad for AFCON 2019.
The coach of the Blackstars, James Akwesi Appiah named his official 23 man squad for Egypt 2019 yesterday.

The official announcement was done at the Dubai Training camp where the initial 29 man squad had their camping.

According to reports, Majeed Waris heard news about the leaked 23 man squad which didn’t include his name so he decided to boycott the official announcement meeting.

The player felt disrespected, locked himself up in his room and wept according to George Addo of Joy Sports.
