The club has completed the signing of left-back Imoro Ibrahim from Thunder FC with a four-year deal expected to end in 2024.
The 20-year-old utility left-footed player arrives with a wealth of talent, prospect and experience having played for Ghanaian Premier League side, Karela FC and Israeli giants, Hapoel Tel-Aviv.
A strong, fast defender who can as well function as a left-winger, Imoro Ibrahim is apt with his tackles and lethal when running into opponent’s territory with the ball at his feet.
The national U-20 player has been on trials at the club for two weeks now, and his signing confirms Maxwell Konadu and the technical bench’s satisfaction with his quality.
Imoro said: ‘Kotoko is the biggest club in Ghana and among the biggest clubs in Africa. It is always a pleasure and a dream come true for a player like me to wear the club’s colours. It is a massive leap in my career and I promise to give it everything that I have got.’
“The team has a lot of good and experienced players who I will be learning from. I want to help the club to win trophies both here in Ghana and international and so is ready to work very hard to help anytime I am called upon to play.”
