OFFICIAL: Majeed Waris, Ebenezer Ofori dropped from Black Stars squad for AFCON 2019

Nantes striker, Majeed Waris, and New York City FC midfielder, Ebenezer Ofori, are among the most high profile names to be dropped from Kwesi Appiah’s Black Stars squad for the Africa Cup of Nations.

There is also no place for Asante Kotoko’s Fatawu Safiu and Hearts of Oak’s Mohammed Alhassan, who will also not be making a trip to Egypt.

Ghana U-23 captain, Yaw Yeboah, completes the list of 5 players who have been dropped from the 28 players Kwesi Appiah took to camp in Dubai.
