Prez Akufo Addo Explains How He Feels Following Ghana’s Exit At AFCON

Knowing how passionate Ghanaians are with football, it’s not surprising that everyone is talking about the elimination of the Black Stars by Tunisia all over radio and TV, including social media whilst others have also started the blame game and name calling.

The Black Stars of Ghana got kicked out of the tournament after losing 5-4 on penalties to Tunisia in a game they should have clearly won after Dede’s beautiful goal was disallowed when replays show it was a very clean goal.

During the penalty to shootout, all the Ghanaian players scored their goals except Ekuban and that was enough to get the team packing home back to Ghana. According to Nana Addo, like most Ghanaians, he’s also gutted by the exit of the Black Stars at AFCON 2019.

He wrote;

Like most Ghanaians, I am gutted by the exit of the Black Stars at AFCON 2019. I wish the team better luck next time. I am confident they will bounce back even stronger, and make all of us proud once again.
