Suspected Robbers Fatally Stab Unidentified Man in Ashaiman

An unidentified man was fatally stabbed by suspected armed robbers around 4:30 am on Thursday, February 15, 2024, in Ashaiman. According to Graphic Online, the victim was discovered near Goodness filling station at Ashaiman Main Trotro Station, lifeless with stab wounds and blood-soaked clothes. Eyewitness Yaw Kwakye reported that the victim, carrying a bag with money and a phone, was approached by criminal gangs who demanded his belongings, leading to a struggle and ultimately the victim being stabbed in the stomach. The incident has sparked panic among residents amid rumors that the victim may have been a military personnel, likely stemming from a prior incident in March 2023 when soldiers invaded Ashaiman following the killing of Private Imoro Sherrif. The police in Ashaiman, when contacted for comments, declined to provide further information on the incident.
