‘Weed’ is blessed by God to cure sickness; let’s legalize it – Pastor advocates

The debate for the legalization of marijuana or otherwise known as ‘weed’ has taken a religious perspective with teachers of the Bible trying to justify why its use must be encouraged.

One of such persons who insists the contraband good must be considered for both local consumption and export is Rev. Dr Abbeam Ampomah Danso, the General overseer of God’s Solution Center and chancellor of Abbeam Institute of Technology.

The businessman who is looking forward to the day marijuana will be legalized, stated that he will gladly invest in it challenging those who say the bible frowns on its usage to quote the scriptures to back their claims

‘Go into the scriptures and tell me where it is written that there is cannabis and it is a plant for the devil…’, he quizzed.

‘There is nothing like that. We all can prove and we are all sure that the Bible says that, the plants are blessed for us to use to cure sicknesses. Maybe there was some of form of ignorance…we still have leaders who are somehow ignorant of the truth….’, the pastor said.

The pastor disclosed that he was hooked on marijuana at the age of nine because his step-grandfather cultivated the herb.

“At the age of nine, my grandmother had married a man…they farmed weed. I had the opportunity to start smoking because I saw all of them smoking,” he said.
