[26/04, 6:19 pm] Kwaku Anane: SUAME MAGAZINE ZONE FIVE (5) GETS 36 SEATER ULTRA MODERN TOILET FACILITY.
The suame Municipal chief Executive Officer , Hon John Osei Bobbie has today inaugurated an ultra modern toilet facility for the Suame Magazine zone (5) in the Suame municipality in the Ashanti Region.
The 36 unit facility was cost whooping an amount of seven hundred thousand Ghana CEDI’s ( 700,000).
Speaking at the colourful ceremony which held at suame magazine zone five Hon john Osei Bobbie said the construction of the facility by government was a manifestation of government’s mission and through the public private partnership (P.P.P ) collaborate with development to the artisans of Suame magazine zone five (5).
He said it was the undeniable that the facility had come at an opportune time as sanitation remains one of government top priorities .
He emphasis that the facility would improve the sanitary conditions in the area while lessening sanitation related illness.
He finally he charge the artisans to cultivate the culture of maintainance to keep the facility clean and tidy for longer use.

He said the GAPO ENTERPRISE through their collaboration with Suame Municipal Assembly supported the artisans of Suame Magazine with ultra modern 36 seated toilet facility to improve sanitation in the area.
He emphasis that Sanitation is one of the major problems facing the artisans who are performing their day today activities at Kumasi Suame magazine .
he said GAPO ENTERPRISE had a contract with the Municipal Assembly under BOT (Build Operate and Transfer) agreement.
Speaking to OTEC NEWS after the commissioned, the Mr. Owusu Takyi opined that the facility will provide welcome relief to Men and Women who earlier had no option but to use the leakage toilet nearby. He stated that the issue of sanitation is a major concern to each and every individuals in the country but here in Ghana we normally expect government to do every thing for us which according to him this will never help us to developing country like Ghana.
He emphasized that the work of artisans at Suame magazine is very remarkable but the sanitation in the area is the biggest challenge that is why he collaborated with the assembly to save the artisans from this terrible situation.

Customers of Legacy Capital Savings and Loans storm and decide not to leave the company’s office at Berekum in the Bono Region unless all their accounts have been cleared.
According to them, they had an information that the company is collapsing and they will not wait until it got out of hands before blaming the Government.
In an interview, they lamented that, ” we will not allowed a similar situation like DKM, First Allied Bank, God is Love Fun Club etc, to happened anymore”.
They bemoaned that, ” it’s about a week ago of which they got an information that the financial institution is collapsing and we were told to come another for the money when tried to withdraw”
“We were informed to be paid part of the amounts instead withdrawing everything from the accounts but since morning till 5:30pm, nothing has been handed to us”, they emphasised.
On the other hand, the area manager for Legacy Capital Savings and Loans Sunyani branch assured the customers to come on Monday 29th April,2019 for their money.
