President of council of Northern Chiefs for Mpasatia , Chief Abdullai Mohammed has warn Politicians to be mindful of their Vigilante group since they could be the cause of the recent killing and kidnaping in the country.

Speaking in a sidelined interview with Otec news Ekuoba Gyasi he said too many Vigilante groups in the country is a threat to national security.

He bemoan why it has become necessary for the two leading political parties to setup such Vigilante groups with the aim of protecting the ballot box , he called it unreasonable and call on the political parties to liase with the police to disband all Vigilante group .

He said these people are vary strong , well trained and experienced , we can employ those who qualify in the security services rather than keep them until election time just for them to protect the ballot box in just a single day while the security services is available , who knows the activities of these Vigilante groups , they sit in their various home counting on Politicians to feed them .

The time has come and we need to disband these groups because their activities poses danger to the peace and security in the country
