COVID-19: 178 new cases recorded as case count surges to 6,096

Ghana has seen another leap in its COVID-19 numbers in the latest update provided by the Ghana Health Service.

In the latest update on the Services’ website, Ghana has recorded 6,096 from the previous 5,918 cases of COVID-19,

Recoveries have increased from 1754 to 1,773 while the country’s death toll stands at 31 which means no new death recorded in the latest update.

Greater Accra continues to be a leading hotspot for the disease followed by the Ashanti and Central regions.

Volta Region – 41

Northern Region – 31
