THE WORLD TOUR & Entertainment in collaboration with Juaben-Appiayinasehene, in the Juaben Municipality of the Ashanti region, Nana Kwanin Kwanfo II feted orphans in Kumasi on fathers Day.

Ghanaians joined the rest of the world to honor and celebrate fathers for their sacrifice, leadership, mentorship, and outstanding roles they have played in communities over the years.

The day, which is observed on the third Sunday of June globally, has gradually been embraced in Ghana to complement the widely celebrated Mother’s Day event.

Ghanaian men are now being recognized through the giving of cards, gifts, dining outs, well-wishing messages, and other forms of showing appreciation, rather than the previous practice where a few media houses invited callers to share their disturbing experiences with their fathers.

The World Tour and Entertainment in Kumasi held a Father’s Day outdoor program with several orphans under the illustrious patronage of Appiayinasehene- Nana Kwanin Kwanfo II.

The event ran from early in the morning until late in the afternoon at the Shower Playing Ground-Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

Speaking at the program, the CEO of World Tour & Entertainment Mr. Kwaku Atwere in an interview with brightwebtv.com correspondent, Nana Asare Barimah indicated that, because of the awful nuts, it has become difficult for us (men) to be admired, but I am delighted the trend is changing for the better.

When quizzed about the event’s motivation, he claimed that The World Tour and Entertainment wanted to put a smile on the orphans’ faces while the world celebrates fathers.
Being a father involves a lot of commitment to one’s family, requiring a lot of physical, material, and emotional investments in the family, community, and nation. Many of us strive to do our best. I love being a father, he concluded

Showing his fatherly love to the orphans, Nana Kwanin Kwanfo II, Juaben Appianyinasehene promised that, the Father’s Day Out with ORPHANS is going to be a yearly event and he is going to always collaborate with World Tour and Entertainment every year to make it possible and donated an amount of Ghc 10,000 to the charity homes that were present.
