A/R (video): BUFFER STOCK COMPANY ALLEGEDLY BAGS EXPIRED RICE TO SECONDARY SCHOOLS

The National Buffer Stock Company Limited, an Agency appointed by the government of Ghana to distribute food Items to the various second-cycle institutions in the country has been found allegedly re-baging an expired rice from India into planting for food and Jobs (PFJ) sacks in their werehouse in Ashanti Region.

 

According to some investigations conducted by brightwebtv.com team at one of their warehouses in the Ashanti Region, specificaly Duase in the Manhyia South Municipality of the Ashanti Region, they found out that, the workers were busily re-baging an expired product(rice) which is best before 2023 December into planting for food and Jobs (PFJ) sacks to be distributed to the various Senior High Schools across the Ashanti Region.

 

The team, however made an attempt to speak to the Ashanti Regional Boss,  but refused to give his side of the story to the team.

Mwanwhile, the Concerned Farmers Association of Ghana is calling on the government to arrest the persons in charge of the Buffer stock company caught on camera. The president of the association , Nana Oboadie Boateng Bonsu, made this call on one of the kumasi based Time FM.
