A member of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) legal team, Mr Gary Nimako has expressed disappointed in the Commission for Human Rights and Administrative Justice(CHRAJ) over their decision not to investigate the petition against the Chief Justice, Kwasi Enin Yeboah

Speaking in an interview on Neat FM, on Tuesday August 24, which was monitored by MyNewsGhana.net, Mr Gary Nimako said that it was his expectation that CHRAJ would also look into the issue and come out with its independent findings.

According to him, the CHRAJ report would have as served as icing on the cake since it would also have exonerated the Chief Justice of any wrongdoing.

He also aimed a dig at the Mr Thompson Mensah for doing the bidding of the National Democratic Congress in this whole saga.

With this, he described the move by ASEPA to get the Chief Justice removed from office as a big shame adding that it was very dangerous for the CSO to play politics with the judicial system of Ghana.

He wondered why ASEPA would even seek to get the Chief Justice removed from office based on hearsay.

“Thompson must be very careful. It is a shame that he is trying to disgrace the court. How does he expect the Chief Justice to be removed from office based on hearsay. Does he think we are joking in the country”, he said.
