MTN-Ghana, the main sponsor of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Football club Thursday morning, handed-over a refurbished pitch to the club at Adako Jachie, a community near Ejisu.

The idea behind the project was to enhance the nature of the training pitch and to prevent the players from getting injured due to the bad surface of the former field.

Speaking at an elaborate ceremony, Nana Osei chief of Adako Jachie expressed delight to MTN for the project and entreated the players to give out their best in all matches.

He assured that the pitch will be maintained to stand the test of time and serve the purpose it was constructed for.

Mr. Amoako stressed that the 9 years (2010-2019) partnership with MTN has been a good one and hoped that the telecommunication network would continue to be of assistance to the club.
