Brong Ahafo 1st National Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Kwame Baffoe has dared former President John Dramani Mahama and the NDC to take him to court over claims that Mr. Mahama sent $1.5 million to PDP’s political Leader, Atiku Abubakar.

Speaking on Asempa FM’s political talk-show, Ekosii Sen; he said that, he has empirical evidence to defend his assertion should he be sued. He mentioned names like Mark Arhin who he claims is one of his referent point to his claims.
He challenged Mr. Atiku to come out himself to deny too if it was not true.
However he said that, all the allegations have been confirmed by Madam Akua Donkor who claims to be the mother of the former President and for that reason if there was any suit, it should be directed at her and not him.
“Akua Donkor has come out to say that Mahama’s comeback is nothing but to milk the nation for his unfinished business.” He alluded.
He was on the show with an NDC representative, one Alhaji Halidu challenging him in his face to send him to court over the allegations he was making.
Meanwhile the Host of the programme, O.B as popularly known extricated the station from the allegations.
Contrary to reports that former President John Dramani Mahama donated $1.5 million to the Presidential candidate for the People’s Democratic Party’s (PDP’s) Leader in 2019, the office of the former says he did no such thing.
Abronye DC expressed that he was concerned because the “money could be have been used by the former president who is a senior citizen of this country and thinks there is hardship to support governmental initiatives such as building more schools to support the free SHS policy, expanding the 1 district 1 Factory initiative and several other polices.”
He added that “even if Mr. Mahama did not want to support this government with his money, he could have used it to support the unemployed, hungry and vagabond NDC foot soldiers who have resulted to vigilantism, killing their colleagues at their party offices, causing mayhem and disrupting the peace in this country.”
But a counter statement from the Office of the Former President states the claim is untrue and must be treated with the contempt it deserves.
It says: “President Mahama has sent no money to any candidate in Nigeria.”
