The Electoral commission of Ghana has reiterated it’s decision to go ahead in compilation of the new voters’ register ahead of 2020 general election, despite the government’s ban on mass gathering over the spreading of coronavirus in Ghana,brightwebtv.com can confirm.
According to a latest statement sighted by.brightwebtv.com which was signed by the
Ag. Director of public affairs for the electoral commission, Mrs Sylvia Annor on Tuesday, 17 March 2020 has been stated that, “the electoral commission will go ahead with the compilation of the new voters’ register”.
In the statement, the electoral commission has seen some misinformation on the social media indicating that the commission has cancelled the pending compilation of the new register ahead of 2020 general election.
