The founder and leader of Pillar of Zion Church International, Evangelist Akwasi Awuah has surprisingly revealed what church members need.

In contemporary Ghanaian society, Ghanaians have always raised concerns about why pastors keep getting rich whilst church members are always broke depending on alms for survival.

In a video that flew across social media platforms some months back, a man of God together with his family was seen in their car from church service whilst their church members were sadly walking in the rain.

Rev. Obofour, some time ago disclosed that he is rich as Ghanaians see him today because of the offerings among other donations and money he gets from his church members.

During a live broadcast sighted by Ghbase.com, Reverend Obofour candidly disclosed that his, as well as the financial prosperity of other pastors is a result of offerings received from congregants.

Well, controversial Ghanaian evangelist, Evangelist Akwasi Awuah has said that what church members need is not money.

In a photo sighted by Ghbase.com, Evangelist Akwasi Awuah has said that what church members in Ghana need is the word of God.

Evangelist Akwasi Awuah did not state precisely what the word of God does for church members in contemporary Ghanaian society, all that he said is that church members need the word of God.

According to him, money is a very good thing, however, church members do not need money but the word of God.
