A/Region: Fatal Sunday evening road crash kills 2; injures 11

A gory accident at Kona, on the Ejura-Mampong Highway has claimed the lives of two persons Sunday evening.

Eyewitnesses say several others have been badly injured and are at the Zion Praise Hospital for treatment.

Witnesses say a Ssangyong passenger bus with registration number AW 6665-12 collided head-on with a Hyundai Sportage salon car with registration number GS 3076-11 after driver of the bus lost control.

Reports say the bus with 15 occupants summersaulted in the process.

Police were later called to the scene to control traffic.

Some victims have been recounting how the incident happened.
