Agona SDA SHS student dies after failed abortion

Mary Frimpomaa a student at Seventh Day Adventist Senior High school, Agona, located in the Ashanti Region, was not lucky enough after she tried to abort her unborn child to avoid being Sacked from school.

The 16 year old girl is believed to have committed the act during their long vacation in the house.

After taking an abortion pill not recommended by a doctor, she starting feeling sharp pains in her abdomen and was immediately rushed to the hospital.

The form one girl who is staying with her parents at Akrofonso near Asaman in the Ashanti Region was pronounced dead after she was sent to the hospital.
