Breaking News: Six Killed In Gory Car Accident

Six (6) people have been confirmed dead in an accident that occurred Thursday 25th July, 2019 at Koluedor in the Ada West District confirmed.
The Ada West District Police Commander, DSP George Aboagye who spoke to My News Ghana correspondent Daniel Akpaloo Nyorngmor revealed that the accident which occurred around 2pm involved a Sprinter Bus with registration No. GT 5939-19 and a Hyundai Tescon also with Registration No. GX 9588-8.
DSP Aboagye revealed that the bodies were deposited at the Ada East District Hospital Morgue while 19 other victims who sustained various degrees of injuries were also being treated at the same Hospital.
He, however, was unable to tell the cause of the accident but eyewitnesses narrated to mynewsghana the Hyundai tescon which was moving towards Tema was trying to save a reckless motto (Okada) rider who wrongly overtook him but unfortunately crashed into the incoming Sprinter Bus who loaded 33 passengers heading towards Aflao.
The two drivers the Commander indicated sustained minor injuries and were discharged after treatment at Ada East District Hospital.
He assured that his Command will investigate the cause of the accident.
The police commander also advised drivers to be careful on the road especially as the annual Asafotufiami festival is fast approaching.
