A/R :2 pupils drown in galamsey pit at Bobiam,Bosome-Freho

Two pupils of Bobiam D/A Primary School at Bobiam in theBosome-Freho District of the Ashanti Region have lost their lives when they went swimming in an abandoned galamsey pit on Thursday, 7th March 2019.

The deceased Asiedu Samuel 13 and Kwadwo 10 allegedly went to the abandoned galamsey pit to swim at river Adomasu.

According to an eyewitness Kwame Chief (Omalolo) who disclosed the sad incident to brightwebtv.com said the children went to the place purposely to swim when the unfortunate happened.
He added that, the mortal remains of the boys have since been retrieved by Asiwa Police Command and deposited at Yaw Kwei Hospital morgue at Konongo in the Asante Akyem District pending investigations and autopsy
