Sawla: 3 crashed to death while attending colleague’s wedding

Three persons were crashed to death on the spot at Nyoli close to Sawla in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District of the Savannah Region while attending a colleague’s Islamic wedding on Sunday June 30, 2019, MyNewsGh.com has confirmed.

It is gathered that the deceased persons who are natives of Sawla only identified a Adambele and Seidu Owner were returning from Nyoli to Sawla when they crashed with another motorbike rider at Tuna Dam and all three people involved in the accident died.
The third person as at press time was yet to be identified.

An opinion leader and resident of the area identified as Alhaji Sawla who gave an account of what transpired on Bole based Nkiligi Fm described the accident as very unfortunate indicating that Sawla is in a mourning mood.

He called for prayers for the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District and also called on young men to ride motorbikes with caution as it suspected they could be speeding which resulted in the collision.

Police in the area have confirmed the incident to MyNewsGh.com but revealed that they are investigating to ascertain the true facts of what really transpired leading to the death of the three persons.

This comes barely a fortnight a Toyota Corrola vehicle has run over four school children killing two on the spot in the same area.

The vehicle which was Techiman bound, is reported to have run into the children who had closed from school and were on their way home at Dume a community Dume on the Sawla- Wa road in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba district.
