VIDEO: Police arrest ladies captured throwing garbage into drains

Ladies captured on camera for littering garbage into drains have been arrested by the police. Indiscriminate littering is an unlawful act punishable by law.

The video of their dubious actions was secretly filmed by a patriotic citizen, Mr Christian Thompson. Social media powered its spread and gone viral.

It was all day rains in a broad daylight. The ladies without shame poured out garbage kept in sacks into the rains.

This happened at the Madina Zongo in Accra. The district police command has caused the arrest of the culprits.

“ladies and gentlemen, this is the area where the ladies were throwing garbage into the drain. We have now come here with the officers to arrest the culprits. This is an embarrassment to the country. It is about time that we bring a stop to this kind of nonsense.”

… As you can see, this is where they were throwing all the garbage and they run into the house. We are going in there now to see what can be done. This is the neighborhood. We are in. This is where they throw the garbage. After they cook here, they take all the garbage and then throw it that side in the gutter. So we are here now to see what we can do ” the patriotic citizen reported in a live video during the arrest.
