A twenty-Three (23) old internet fraudster or yahoo boy Akwasi Boakye has been shot dead by unknown assailants at Kronum Abuohia in the Suame Constituency of the Ashanti Region following the unveiling of his brand new Range Rover.

The unfortunate incident has thrown tenants, family and friends into a state of shock and mourning as the late fraud boy was philanthropic with his ‘loot’.

The father of the deceased Kwaku Nkrumah speaking in an interview with Pure FM’s Osei Kwadwo on the Pure Morning Drive hosted by Kwame Adinkrah monitored by MyNewsGh.com said the deceased was found dead in a cold blood in his room.

According to him, they suspect the deceased was killed after he bought a new Range Rover.

Kwaku Nkrumah admitted on live radio that his son is an internet scammer and he knew as much as a father because the boy had always told him.

“Yes he was a scammer and I will never lie. He told me that he was a scammer”, the father told Pure FM.

“We suspect foul play because he was in the house with his friend when the incident occurred so we believe that his friend was part of the assailants”.

The body of the deceased has been deposited at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital Morgue for autopsy.

Meanwhile Suame Police Command has commenced investigation into the matter.
