The Assin Fosu District Court presided over by his worship, Djane Quotey, has fined the teacher, Kenneth Kwabena Antwi, for blowing false alarm on the whereabouts of the three missing Takoradi girls.
Kenneth Kwabena Awuku was initially charged 20 penalty units, which is equivalent to Ghc240 and a 3-months default jail term.
The accused person was also made to sign a 3-months bond of good behaviour.
A caveat that should the accused person commit a crime within the period, he may be given a 6-month jail term before the substantial case is been adjudicated.
Mr. Antwi however paid the court fine and was subsequently released from police custody.
