The deceased, Joseph Bawa

A 32-year-old girl has allegedly stabbed her boyfriend to death at Ayigya Zongo in the Oforikrom Municipality of the Ashanti Region.

The suspect, Jennifer Appiah, also known as Maa Akua reportedly stabbed the deceased, Joseph Bawa, multiple times to death on Sunday after a misunderstanding ensued between the two.

Mother of the deceased, Madam Hawa Alhasan in an interview with OTEC News reporter, Jacob Agyenim Boateng, disclosed that, her son was pronounced dead upon arrival at the Tech Hospital.

She noted that, it was not clear what caused the misunderstanding but the suspect is notable for threatening the deceased with knife and scissors any time they have a fight.

“I have urged my son to stop dating the woman on countless occasions but he refused to do so until his sudden demise”.

“Now the lady after killing my son has vamoosed, and so we are pleading with Police to arrest and bring her to book”.

Body of the deceased has been deposited at the Tech Hospital’s morgue for further investigations
